Will help liver: Adequate Vitamin D is essential for good immune function so taking Vit D can only help your liver. However. most adults need 5-8000 iu/day to achieve optimal levels of 50-80. though this time of year good sun exposure can give you enough D as well. Ttc, taking vit B6 100mg, 500mg vit c and a mum to be multi vit as luteal phase 9-11 day once pregnant should I stop vit B6 and vit c straight away?
Why?: Vitamin b6 and vit. C are totally safe during pregancy. Is strongly advise everyone take at least 1000 mg of vit c 2x/day as a preventive measure and feel it is wise during pregnancy. Your pre-natal will probably provide adequate b6 (though many people benefit from higher doses than many pre-natals supply) so it may not be necessary but there is no need to stop it "straight away.". ...Read more

Depends: Different items work for different people, but many patients report a better sense of well being with a b complex vitamin, and with significant vitamin d. Depending on your latitude and sun exposure, you may or may not get enough vitamin d from sun. You could consider trying 3, 000 iu of vitamin d. Depends on amount: Vitamin c is an essential vitamin. However, excessive amounts can lead to kidney stones, which could possibly affect your ckd. Hba1c was found 6.1 and vitamin d level was found less than 5ngm/ml. Does taking vitamin d supplements cures my case of being prediabete. Thx?
Vitamin D cure?: Your being pre-diabetic will not be solved by vitamin d supplements. If you have risk factors for diabetes such as obesity, poor diet and lack of exercise, modification of those will be better than taking vitamin d. As your vitamin d2 level is low, supplemental vitamin d is needed and not for the prevention of diabetes. Speak to your physician about your problem. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
