Peeling on back of toes, rough soles. Athletes foot? After washing or rubbing athletes foot in they're a bit sore/sensitive. Think it's athletes foot.
Possibly: Tinea pedis can be associated with peeling and itching but is often in moist places as between your toes. There are over the counter powders and sprays that might help.
