Tough to treat: Unfortunately, nail fungus is hard to get rid of. There are many topicals and otc remedies, but they do not often work. The best treatment is with oral antifungal meds - which can have systemic effects. Citrus seed extract & caprylic acid have some antifungal properties with perhaps fewer side effects.
