16 mo old vomited 5x in 3h fri. Vomited again mon when eating snack - cheese, animal crackers, and eggs and just now tue eating pasta. What to do?

Restrict diet: Our child most likely has a stomach virus. He/she was better over the weekend, and the cheese and eggs may simply have been too much on monday as was the pasta. Encourage fluids and revert to s simpler diet like rice, applesauce..Bland foods...No dairy. It is friday so i hope your child is better or you saw your doctor and received some help. ...Read more

If I donate my eggs, won't somebody else's child look like me?

If I donate my eggs, won't somebody else's child look like me?

Maybe: Any child conceived using your eggs may look similar to you (especially if it's a girl). On the other hand, the intended father also contributes half the child's genetics so the baby / child may not look exactly like you. If you're an anonymous donor you will never meet the child. If it doesn't "feel right" to you don't donate your eggs, though. It's a personal decision. Best wishes. ...Read more

Is it difficult to have your own child after you donate your eggs?

No: If you did hormonal therapy to induce ovulation for the donation, it may take a couple of months for your cycle and natural ovulation to return to normal, but after that there would be no problems. Does the child take on the genes of the egg doner?

What are the risk factors for egg donors who want to have children of their own in the future?

What are the risk factors for egg donors who want to have children of their own in the future?

We don't think any: As far as we know being an egg donor does not affect your future fertility potential. But 'just to be safe' as well as to reduce the chances of kids from the same donor having kids together, we limit each donor to no more than 6 egg donation cycles in her lifetime, across the us. As part of becoming a donor you will be tested to make sure you have normal or above-average egg supply / fertility. ...Read more

Donor eggs: Women in your age group produce many eggs when medicated for egg retrieval. If you want to "donate" your eggs, go to a "In Vitro Fertilization" center, usually in a city or suburban metropolitan area, and they will discuss the process in detail, after an extensive genetic history.
