My prolactin level's 749, fsh-5.7, lh-5.4, estradiol-34, trying to conceive but no results.3misscariages and 1extrauterine pregnancy. What's the problem?
Double check: Are you saying your prolactin level is 749 or is this a decimal-point error? Also is that in units of micrograms/liter? If both these things are true your prolactin level is around 50 times higher than normal. If both these things are correct you need to see an endocrinologist or a reproductive endocrinologist immediately! If this is an error, then sorry for the alarm. ...Read more
Semen analysis says 2.5 lacs count & only few numbers are motile took all tests (fsh level HIV etc) evrythng is normal. What to do for geting pregnancy?
Hormone level on the 5th day of pregnancy: lh: 14, 3 fsh 7, 4 estradiol: 53 ph/ml does it look like pcos?
Low gonadotropins: The numbers seem to be on the low side. However, if your wife is already pregnant, it does not matter; if she wants to get pregnant and has regular cycles, it does not matter, either. If her cycles are irregular, she will be best off by seeing gynecologist/reproductive endocrinologist. I see low gonadotropins in women, who are depressed. ...Read more
Removed IUD (non hormonal) from 4 months no pregnancy, labs FSH LH all normal, why? What shall I do?
Amh 0.16, FSH 14.1. What are my chances of pregnancy? Would IUI with injectables even be an option. I'm 35 years old
Shots + IUI vs. IVF: No test of ovarian reserve is perfect - there is no fsh level so high or amh level so low that noone gets pregnant. Ultrasound scan for ovarian volumes and antral follicle count and a Clomid (clomiphene) challenge test day 10 fsh give us more info. If you respond to injectables you have a chance of getting pregnant - I would see a rei for the above tests, then talk about IUI vs. Ivf. Ok to try IUI for 3 months. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Can I take a FSH and LH blood test after my period? My flow this month was light and period was delayed. Will this blood test also detect pregnancy?
Yes and No: Yes, you can take the fsh & lh blood tests after your period even if it was light (as long as you believe it was a period). Usually test on days 2-4 of cycle. No, the timing and the fsh/lh hormones will not detect pregnancy. If the period was not a real menses and you are actually pregnant with bleeding then a HCG test would detect pregnancy. I hope this answer helps. ...Read more
