Fsh And Estradiol Levels In Menopause
What do my levels of TSH. 82ml Estradiol 63ml FSH 30.1 ml Did the testing for my hormone levels. Pre-menopause/menopause? Anything? Thanks!
Fsh is a peptide hormone synthesized in the anterior (forward) pituitary gland in both males and females. The name 'follicle stimulating hormone' refers to its role in females, namely to recruit and prepare an oocyte (egg) in the first half of the menstrual cycle leading up to ovulation. Fsh is often measured in blood to test a woman's ovarian ...Read more
No evidence: Hi. Those lab tests show no evidence of menopause, and perimenopause does not have laboratory diagnostic criteria. Based on statistics and lack of hormonal evidence, I would say perimenopause is very unlikely and menopause is not present. BTW, I am assuming your prolactin is expressed in SI units, you being from the civilized country to the north of us. ...Read more
Blood post menopausal test: estradiol <111; FSH 19-151; LH 14.2-52.3; progesterone <2.7 what does this indicate plse?
Menopause: The lab tests suggest that you may be perimenopausal. That means that your cycles may become more irregular, you may start or have hot flashes now, and the chances of getting pregnant with your own eggs is very low. It doesn't say when you will stop having periods or that you can't get pregnant, just a very low chance with your own eggs. Using an egg donor is an option if you want to get pregnant. ...Read more

43 years old, still get regular periods. Started period today, yesterday had labs- Fsh = 2.8 and estradiol 17b = 78. Normal, or is it pre-menopause?
Normal: FSH of 2.8 is normal although your estrogen level is slightly elevated for this time of your cycle (could have a very small cyst). I usually recommend getting these labs drawn on cycle day 2-3 (cycle day 1 is first day of full flow) to make the test more accurate. A better test of your egg reserve is AMH (anti-mullerian hormone) which can be drawn any day of your cycle. ...Read more

Me: 31, premature menopause, FSH is 120, amh is 0, 16. Medicine: estradiol, progesterone, dhea & coq10. Is there a chance I can get pregnant naturally?
Had 3misscarriages & 1 laparoscopic hysterectomy, my prolactin level 749, fsh-5.7, lh-5.4, estradiol-34.What does this mean? Answer please!
I am 25 with low estradiol and all symptoms to go along. Thyroid good and lh, FSH seems fine too at level 6. What is cause low estro? What to check?
Pituitary? PCOS?: The major question is: are you getting a period? If you are getting them regularly, the Estradiol levels are not abnormal. Estradiol levels vary through the menstrual cycle. If you are not getting your period, one needs to consider possible causes like high prolactin, other pituitary disease, or polycystic ovarian syndrome. ...Read more
What is normal range for LH, FSH, progesterone, and estradiol levels when taken on day 3 of period?
Depends on lab: Different laboratories can have reference values for LH, FSH, progesterone, and estradiol that differ from each other. Moreover, the nature of the test can have an impact on those reference values. The lab at which the tests were run will need to be approached for the type of test that was used and the reference values for that specific lab. ...Read more
My FSH and LH levels were both super low at 0.1. But my estradiol was normal. Could this mean a pituitary tumor?
Not enough info: Can't answer your question from that information. LH/FSH varies during the cycle. Those values are a bit low even for the luteal phase. But what else is going on? Why was it done? Are you having normal cycles? Are you menstruating at all? Is your prolactin elevated? I assume you are not taking estrogens. Tiny pituitary tumors are common, and may not be significant. See your doctor. ...Read more
What are normal FSH & estradiol levels before ovulation and after ovulation? Can a blood test checking these levels indicate if ovulation has occured?
My FSH level is <0.2, LH level is 0.4, estradiol is 21.6. Just got my most recent T level and its 371. Would this mean I have secondary hypogonadism?
Nope!: Your Total T is presumably normal (371 is generally in normal range for most labs) so this lab by itself doesn't represent hypogonadism. Your FSH is suppressed & LH is low because you're taking Axiron, a prescription topical T product. Once you start T replacement, there's no need to check FSH & LH. However, checking both FSH & LH are useful prior to starting TRT to determine cause of hypogonadism ...Read more
I have premature ovarian failure. My FSH level is 13.6 mIU/mL, LH 12.5 mIU, prolactin 14.53 ng/mL estradiol 449.1 pmol/L. What does this mean please?
Looks normal: All the hormone values listed, including estradiol, lh, fsh, look normal. Premature ovarian failure is essentially premature menopause. Lh should be higher, and Estradiol lower. Are you sure of the diagnosis? I presume your periods have stopped. Maybe you should see an endocrinologist or gyn who is expert in this. ...Read more

Pre ovulation estradiol 160, LH 50, FSH 17, prolactin 31.....are these levels ok? I took letrozole for 2 months for fertility....would that effect?
What Cycle day: Your FSH and LH levels fluctuate throughout the menstrual cycle in a predictable pattern. Therefor they are tested on specific days for specific purposes. Preovulation FSH/LH levels would be hard to interpret. You could ask the treating physician to analyze them in the context of your fertility treatment. Letrozole is designed to trigger ovulation so it would alter the levels if it was working ...Read more
If trying to get pregnant @ age 34. What should I expect to see as a normal estradiol level & FSH level?
Ovarian reserve: Fsh rises as the ovaries age. Levels normally change during the menstrual cycle. It is best obtained on the third day of the cycle. Levels should be less than 9. As for estradiol, it also should be obtained on the third day of the cycle and it should be less than 50. Levels above 80 signify diminished ovarian reserve. ...Read more

I am 28 and my dr has told me I have normal levels of fsh, LH and estradiol but have low testosterone, haven't seen him yet but was wanting an opinion?
My blood levels of antimullerian-hormone (AMH)=0.91 ng/ml, day 3 FSH=6.1mIU/mL, LH=6.7mIU/mL, Estradiol=80.66 pg/ml. Does this indicate low fertility?
No: Low AMH levels in women under 35 are not very predictable. You may have to do 1 IVF cycle to see the response. The Estradiol of 80 is slightly high. I do not have your entire medical chart so it is not easy to comment. However, your FSH and LH levels are normal. In general, looking at the overall results, you should be able to conceive. ...Read more
My prolactin level's 749, fsh-5.7, lh-5.4, estradiol-34, trying to conceive but no results.3misscariages and 1extrauterine pregnancy. What's the problem?
Double check: Are you saying your prolactin level is 749 or is this a decimal-point error? Also is that in units of micrograms/liter? If both these things are true your prolactin level is around 50 times higher than normal. If both these things are correct you need to see an endocrinologist or a reproductive endocrinologist immediately! If this is an error, then sorry for the alarm. ...Read more
My hormone levels one day before my period are-Estradiol=60.53 pg/ml; FSH= 4.9 mIU/ml; LH 3.6 mIU/ml. Are they perfect for a female for conception?
No valid: So it just so happens that you checked your hormones levels at probably the worse time. If you want to know more about your ovaries, they you want to check on day 1, 2 or 3 of your period. If you want to know more about your ovulation, you would check your progesterone 1 week before your period. So not sure what to make of hormones drawn at this time. ...Read more
