Frozen Embryo Transfer And H Cg Did Not Double
Embryo transfer (also et, set. Fet, etc) refers to placing one or more human embryo(s) (multi-cell or blastocyst) into the uterus of a woman trying to become pregnant. Et is the final step in an ivf cycle, and is done in some other circumstances as well. It is extremely safe, mostly comfortable, and usually not technically difficult. Experts agree on its importance, but ...Read more

Unlikely: You mean natural cycle frozen embryo transfer with HCG used to trigger ovulation. There is no evidence that using HCG has additional benefits compared to awaiting natural lh surge and spontaneous ovulation. Hcg injection though may help with timing of frozen embryo transfer as compared to awaiting lh surge which may be missed or happen in an inconvenient day. ...Read more

Pregnancy post ET: It is not uncommon to have a little delay of starting a pregnancy after fresh or frozen et. But if you wait 2 weeks post transfer you should be able to tell. I have used tens before and after et according to the literature from china, and it seems to be increasing the pregnancy rate. If you are close to the ny area i suggest you schedule a consultation. ...Read more
For a FET 5 day blastocyst transfer, does embryo implantation cramping necessary, I have still no signs of cramps on the 4dpt?
Not necessarily: Embryo implantation usually causes no symptoms at all. So not having cramping does not mean you are less likely to get pregnant. Good luck! ...Read more
Well....: first, it certainly means you are pregnant. I suspect that number seems high and multiple pregnancies raise HCG, so, I suspect multiple pregnancies, while more than 3 is theoretically possible, 2 or 3 is what the result will be BUT, in any conception, the risk of very early embryo loss is quite high, so, successful pregnancy likely, multiple is likely and, you WILL need ultrasound in a few weeks ...Read more

If the Hcg titre is 78.87, measured 12 days after embryo transfer of 2 embryos, 3day post fertilisation, both are8 cells. Is this level good or low?
Very early: It is good that you have a positive pregnancy test. Not many other conclusions can be made form this limited information. Also commonly used in daily communication--police says to a perpetraitor "freeze" and hopefully the bad boy/girl stays solid/still (just for fun :-)). Have ...Read more
