Is there any benefit to using hCG after frozen embryo transfer?

Is there any benefit to using hCG after frozen embryo transfer?

Unlikely: You mean natural cycle frozen embryo transfer with HCG used to trigger ovulation. There is no evidence that using HCG has additional benefits compared to awaiting natural lh surge and spontaneous ovulation. Hcg injection though may help with timing of frozen embryo transfer as compared to awaiting lh surge which may be missed or happen in an inconvenient day. ...Read more

Embryo Transfer (Definition)

Embryo transfer (also et, set. Fet, etc) refers to placing one or more human embryo(s) (multi-cell or blastocyst) into the uterus of a woman trying to become pregnant. I had frozen embryo transfer on 1/28/2015 My 4th beta test showed 332 as HCG level. Is it good or bad?

Beta HCG level: Sometimes with embryo transfer, the implantation into the uterine wall is delayed, so the generation of beta HCG may be as well. Any level above 10 is associated with pregnancy, but "332" is low, and should be checked again in five to seven days, since the rise should be rapid. If bleeding or one sided pain occurs, see your healthcare provider immediately. ...Read more

I had 2 frozen embryo transfer @Jul 8, 11 days after ET HCG=114, 15d HCG=462, 18d HCG=643, may I start to miscarry? I had ectopic on Feb 2014

Yes: Unfortunately, your HCG has not risen normally on the last reading. Normally the HCG will double every 2-3 days, and it has not done so (462 to 643). I would still follow up in 3 days, but I would expect that miscarriage is likely. ...Read more
