Most likely not: DVT pain mostly in the calf because that where the deep vein is . if you are having a pain around your varicoses vein it could be your superfical veins not your deep one. to be sure get venous doppler to ruled out the DVT. ...Read more

It could be due to a pinched nerve from the lumbar spine, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, hip disorder , muscle strain, or many other causes. Maybe muscle cramps: I sorry to hear about this. Regarding the fever, what do you call a fever? Doctor's classify fever as a temp over 101.3F or 38.5C. Do you have a temp this high every 2 months. Is there any redness around the skin of the calf? But this could be just muscle cramps. You could try eating more bananas for potassium which can help for cramps.
