Fresh Frozen Plasma
Freezing is to mean turning liquid into solid form by lowering the temperature. Water begins to freeze at 32 degree f or 0 degree celsius. Freezing reduces the movement of the substance/object--solid. Also commonly used in daily communication--police says to a perpetraitor "freeze" and hopefully the bad boy/girl stays solid/still (just for fun :-)). Have ...Read more
Can you eat raw frozen and raw fresh vegetables as long as you rinse them first? I don't see the issue since we don't cook our raw fruit.
OK for most BUT...: Many people eat only raw vegetables (and raw food) for health benefits, but many nutrients in vegetables are better absorbed when cooked (esp. if boiled or steamed) while others are degraded by cooking. Cruciferous veggies have chemicals that suppress thyroid function if eaten in excess that are deactivated by cooking. If you have diabetes: Any food intake in-between meals, particularly fruit smoothies, can cause a spike in glucose. Your body isn't able to quickly secrete a surge of Insulin to prevent the rise when you're on oral therapy, and if you're on insulin, it wouldn't be covered by the injections before meals or the nighttime basal insulin. If you have diabetes, avoid in-between meal snacks of any kind. You'll also gain weigh. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Would having a live virus in my blood from a mumps-measles-rubella (MMR) shot affect platelet rich plasma (PRP) treatment?
See below: Are you receiving platelet rich plasma? If yes, for what? It is not likely to do you any good. MMR will not have any effect on this otherwise dubious treatment. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. ...Read more

Valium-If the half life is up to 100 hours, but peak plasma is 1-1.5 hours, but the drug is effective for 6 hours. Please explain these relationships.
Valium metabolism: Valium, a benzodiazepine, t1/2 is 20-70h. That's a wide range. Time to onset (oral route) is 30 - 90 minutes. has active metabolites, so there are actually two peak plasma times. Active metabolites also cause it to be effective longer.Do note, however, that 1/2 life tells us how long it will take for drug to reach steady state & for 1/2 diazepam 2 b cleared, but not about active metabolites. ...Read more

No: You are comparing two "alternative" treatments in which stuff is injected into the insertions of ligaments / tendons. A bit less . . .: In general, heat used to dehydrate fruit causes loss of heat-sensitive nutrients such as Vitamin C. Aside from that 1/4 cup dried fruit is, for the most part, comparable to 1 cup fresh fruit, aside from H2O content.
