Urinary frequency can occur for many reasons, and finding the cause can often require a detailed patient history, physical exam, or other testing. I suggest seeing your primary care physician for evaluation. If your symptoms are very bothersome, seek a urologist. Keeping a bladder diary for 48 hours is very helpful for the physician: write down when and how much you drink, and when you void.

What causes my frequent urination?

Yes

But a cause of your frequent urination must be established first by your healthcare provider. If you have a bladder infection (UTI) you must be treated as soon as possible with antibiotics. If you have an "overactive bladder", there are medicines available to treat it. You need a pelvic exam and urine analysis. Some pts have an enlarged uterus due to fibroid tumors or pregnancy = another cause!
