Likely Connected: A sty represents an infection. The swelling you describe sounds like the lymph nodes in this area are responding to your infection. The job of a lymph node is to fight and prevent the spread of infection. You did not say if the swellings are on the same side as your sty; if they are then the swellings represent nodes.
