ER?: Glad to see you made an appointment. The feature that causes concern is the blood. However, it is most likely benign and from irritation at the rectum. Concerning aspects of blood in stool would involved a cupful or more of blood completely mixed in with stool (not stool flecked/streaked with bright red blood or blood on tissue) or black/tarry stool. Hi, I've been experiencing pain in my abdomen and more frequent bowel movements. My stool is soft (and appears slightly undigested) ideas?

Not clear: We try to make sure there's no inflammation in your bowels with a good history (ie do certain foods or stress provoke your symptoms), testing your stools and if needed an endoscopy.
