See details: First make sure you're not pregnant. If negative significant weight gain by itself can interfere with your menses. Your symptoms may or may not be related. There might be more than one thing going on. For example this could be related to thyroid dysfunction. There might be a diabetic component. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a possibility. No: Its not normal. There can be many reasons (hormonal, infection, physical factors, stress, etc). But if it never happens again it makes no difference. Would check a pregnancy test if that is relevant. Otherwise would just wait and see if the problem goes away. ...Read more
