Depends.: In an normal urinalysis they do not test for stds. But you can use the same urine sample to test for chlamydia or gonorrhea. When they take blood for the syphilis test, the can also test for HIV and hep c, but not for chlamydia or gonorrhea. Sampling of trich: Well trich can be 'tricky' if I can make such a pun. The issue could be with the quality of the testing... so if your male partner is testing negative, it might be that either a) he didn't have it or b) the sample collected was not sufficient. None: A urinalysis on its own does not test for STDs. Special cultures need to be ordered. In the case of urine assays, gonorrhea and chlamydia screening and T mycoplasma/ureaplasma testing can be done. Other STDs require blood tests.
