Is it dangerous to have free fluid in pelvis?

Depends

Pleural_effusion
Some free fluid in the pelvis is normal. The amount would matter and the symptoms you were having to get the scan.

I had an MRE of abdomin and pelvis. Report said Small amount of free fluid in pelvis. What does this mean?? Should I be worried?

Physiologic

Pelvis
It is common to find a physiologic amount of free fluid in the pelvis (especially in women). Nothing to be concerned about.

Does "no significant free fluid in pelvis" on u/s mean that there is none? or does everyone have a little bit or this is totally normal?

Pelvic US

Pleural_effusion
There should be no free fluid in the pelvis and it does mean there is none. And no, it is best to have a result showing no free fluid.

What does "no significant free fluid in pelvis" mean on ultrasound? Had baby 2 months ago and still no period yet (4months after). normal?

Good news

Pleural_effusion
In women, it can be normal to have a small amount of fluid in the pelvis, usually from a ruptured ovarian follicle. Sometimes, radiologists report something like "no significant free fluid in pelvis" instead of saying "there is physiologic free fluid", or "there is a small amount of free fluid". Any way you say it, it means there is no concerning amount of fluid to have to further investigate!

Pelvic u/s done 2 months postpartum (vaginal birth) says "no significant free fluid in pelvis". Is this normal? Shouldn't there be 'NONE"?

Pelvic Fluid

Vaginal_birth
There is always a small amount of fluid in the abdominal cavity. Fluid leaks from your blood vessels, your intestines and other areas and is absorbed by other systems within your body to keep things moving. It is totally normal. When there is a large amount of fluid, that becomes abnormal and we need to find the cause of the fluid.

Normal ultrasound

No fluid in pelvis may mean not enough to be seen on u/s or there is none to see. Either way in your case seems like it is normal.

What does trace amounts of free fluid in the pelvis mean?

Usually nothing

Pelvis
I assume this is found on an ultrasound or CT report. It is often normal, especially in women, but must be interpreted in the context of the whole study. The doctor who ordered the test would be in the best position to judge.

What does there is a moderate amount of free fluid in the pelvis mean after a ultrasound exam ?

Sometimes normal

Ultrasound
Fluid in pelvis in females is not uncommon. Free fluid is observed during all phases of the menstrual cycle. Sometimes fluid can be seen with ovarian cysts rupture. Fluid can also occur with pelvic infections and appendicitis. If no other abnormality or active process is seen, then fluid is probably physiologic.
