Freckle Mole Squeeze Damage
Brown/tan color freckle on top of right chest bit darker then skin tone gyno thinks its a freckle doesn't itch 4mm size & asymmetrical is itskin cancer?
Probably not: However, since you asked us, you will certainly want to take it to a dermatologist. We can't diagnose at a distance on just a description. Many people have a lentigo or two on the upper body that looks out of place, and if a person feels uncomfortable about it, it's often wise to trust their intuition and simply remove it. ...Read more
A freckle is a small brown spot on your skin, caused by sun exposure. Use your abcde's to tell the difference between a freckle and skin cancer. A=asymmetry. B=border [irregular]. C=color [irregular]. D=diameter [larger than a pencil eraser]. E=evolving [change in color, size, height, new symptoms like bleeding, itching or crusting]. These are danger signs that ...Read more
Could be: It could be, particularly if it is asymmetrical in its color distribution, has irregular border, has color variation, and a diameter larger than a pencil eraser. Get it checked out if it concerns you; a good dermatologist can suggest if this really needs to be biopsied or removed. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Could a flat mole (single freckle/beauty mark) become cancerous like regular past the surface moles do?
Yes: The presence of a flat mole, one that is irregular in shape and has variegated colors withi grey and dark brown areas represent the superficial moles that undergo malignant transformation leading to a nodular growth. The superficial melanomas less than 1mm thick are for the most part in-situ but as thickness (Breslow) develops , not so much as depth of penetration (Clark),it is now invasive. ...Read more

Lightbrown 1 colour smooth mole thing picked it didn't bleed scabbed over scab fell off bleed now pink looking & healing Could it have be a melanoma?
It may need Dermatol: Any skin lesion which keeps bleeding and does not heal in 2 weeks need to be checked by a Physician. If you needed a biopsy a Dermatologist may be even better qualified. Melanomas tend to bleed...benign lesions heal if you keep the lesion clean and dry/covered with a band-aid. ...Read more

Had spitz nevi removed due togrowing rapidly. Biopsy required deeper excision. Now long mole has grown on top of scar n several smaller moles around.
How do I know if a darker part in scar of shaved mole is a new mole or hyper pigmentation of skin? Definitely lighter than previous mole.
Pale red dots on cheek. 18 years old. Always wore sunscreen. Never had acne. Hyper pigmentation? Underlying freckles? Uneven skin tone? Narrow down?
Sorry...: But is sounds like you have narrowed down your options about as much as anyone can without actually seeing the lesions that you are referring to. Instead of narrowing it down, I could add other possibilities but that would be fruitless. If you are interested in an actual answer you will need to see a physician (primary care or dermatologist). Take care. ...Read more
Shave bio on mod dysplastic nevi, could melanoma grow without any visible signs on surface of skin?
Get it checked: Anytime there is a change in the character of a mole in terms of size, color or pain it should be evaluated by a dermatologist or family doctor. Red color indicates blood from increased growth or trauma. There are some growths that are primarily vascular and can be treated with laser instead of excision. ...Read more

Trimmed toenails-noticed dark grey raised spot next to big toenail-slight pain, think it was ingrown nail. Trimmed off spot of skin, it bled a bit, blood went deep, and a tiny bit of clear liquid (pus?). Cleaned w/isop. alcohol + bandaid. Infected?
Probably: It does sound like an ingrown toenail, which usually does involve infection. The corner of the nail grows into the skin edge and burrows in causing infection. If it is mild, you can sometimes keep the nail edge elevated out of the skin and it can grow past the area. If that does not work, probably would be good to be seen. ...Read more

Which procedure won't leave scars:
