Tincture of time: Good bone health requires both calcium and vitamin d supplementation, and i would start with 1200 mg of calcium per day. Calcium citrate is somewhat better absorbed, but more expensive than calcium carbonate. Vitamin d 600 units daily as well. It depends on many-: -things. Can Be any where from nothing 2 closed reduction & cast or closed reduction and pining 2 open reduction with internal fixation.It also ddepends on the type of fracture. Cominuted (more than two pieces), as well as if you are satisfied with the position it is in, & is there a rotational deformity & where is the fracture. Metacarpal or 1 of the 3 phlangies.
