Hida scan: Diarrhea has been reported after a hida scan when cholecystikinin is injected and especially if a fatty substance was administered by mouth for the test. This could also explain the yellow color of the stools. Either way this diarrhea should be self limited. ...Read more

often babies will catch a virus that manifests itself as only a changed stool. This sounds like typical virally-induced stool change. I would continue the formula for now, but change the baby's solid foods to only binding foods like rice cereal, bananas and applesauce.
If the baby still continues with these symptoms for more than 4 days, gets fever or vomiting, you should see a doctor in person ...Read more

I : I would call your doctor. The green stools may not be such a big deal because that can occur when feces transits too quickly through the colon. It prevents bile from be adequately metabolised and thus the feces do not from green to their characteristic brown colored. This is usually wet or liquid. However, the yellow stools could be from an absence of bile salts (liver, gallbladder or common bile duct). I would let you doctor know, as it is likely that he or she might want to see you sooner. ...Read more

My mom has been having diahrea for almost a week now But today she had yellow hard balls in her stool. What could it be?
Having liquid yellow diarrhoea after drinking tequila the other night, was sick yesterday.. What could this be? Can i eat yoghurt, noodles or soup?
Was it heavy?: Heavy drinking of anything can result in diarrhea, because of direct toxic effects of alcohol on the gut, as well as damaging the pancreas (which usually results in pain as well). Dairy products of any kind are not good if you have diarrhea. Clear liquids (water, juices like apple or grape), consomme soup (no noodles), jello etc. Is best until diarrhea clears. Pepto bismol and Imodium (loperamide) may help. ...Read more
