Please define MBPS: Hi. I think Forteo is the best thing there is for osteoporosis. However, the patient needs to be adequately assessed before starting it. Patients with primary or secondary hyperparathyroidism should not receive Forteo. Patients with a history of therapeutic radiation involving the skeleton should not be treated.
