Why would prednisolone 15mg/5ml (my ER dose is 12.5ml 2nd day) cause my forehead swelling to go down but then cause my eyes to get extremely swollen?
Could be : A. Side affect of the steroids, Prednisone does cause elevated intraocular pressure in some people. Unrelated: First, forehead swelling probably has no connection to your old surgery. Second, use of prophylactic seizure medicine was probably not necessary - especially for this long. Delayed bleeding: There was likely a small blood vessel that just started bleeding underneath the skin, causing the hematoma.
