Sounds like you had-: Strained the flexors of your hand, hence causing pain with attempts to make a fist. You need to be seen by an orthopedist so an xray, ;/or an us can be done to confirm the DX and treatment started. In the meantime, rest the elbow with rice (rest, ice, compression and elevate)in a sling + pain meds lie with aleve (naproxen) or ibuprofen.
