Suggestions : Obviously if the weight is a problem don't exert yourself. There are many reasons for feeling like this including bone disease, muscle or tendon weakness or injury or possibly nerve issues. Two plates have been installed in both the forearm bone to treat the fracture. When will my forearm regain full mobility, doctor denying physiotherapy?

Need more details: A lot will depend what else was injured besides the bone i.E muscles, tendons, ligaments. Also a lot will depend on the exact type of fracture, how old you are, and how motivated you are among other things. Fairly soon,yes: Sounds like you broke your distal radius and it did not require surgery(great!) and you are getting your cast or immobilizer off.Your ors will probably get u started on an exersize program to regain motion in your wrist and your strength back in your forearm and hand.Once you have started that you probably(check w/ your doc) begin doing push-ups, etc.Best of luck! ...Read more

Your age: The amount of deformity and how much growth is left plays a big role. If you are fully grown then that is different and you may need to have this fracture operated upon if it is truly a forearm fracture. ...Read more
