Foods To Eat To Cure Sticky Bowels
Anytime I eat spicy food or even mildly spicy food soon after I have severe back pain until I make a bowel movement, and that doesn't always cure it.
GERD or GB: Spicy foods are usually fatty, such as pizza, chili, tacos, etc. Gallbladder pain frequently is felt in the back, sometimes as the only source of pain. Ruq pain is also associated. Reflux causes esophagus irritation, and although it's most commonly felt in the substernal area, it can be associated with back pain. Unclear about the bowel movement relationship. Try low fat diet, and talk to your md. ...Read more

When I eat my food sits in stomach then makes me dizzy and like I have to throw up bowels is blood?
Apologies for this question, is the regularity of bowel moments dependent of whether you eat enough food. If you don't eat much and go 2 weeks is ok?
Absolutely, because: Food not absorbed combined with molecules body is eliminating is what makes up fecal material, as modified by all the microbiome living within this material & resulting in feces being about 50% bacteria, by volume or wt. When eating less, body tends to eliminate less & we tend to move less. However, many additional variables & 2 weeks between evacuating is c/w constipation & promoting problems. ...Read more

Whenever I eat gluten or sugar it inflames my intestines and bowel.is there anything I can take so I can eat these foods again.how do I treat this?
What foods = quick bowel transit? Have low anal sphincter function, bms take 4+ hrs in small pieces. Work is suffering. I eat lots of insoluble fibre.
Try this: every night take 30 cc of prune juice(if you are not diabetic) and /or another 30 cc of mineral oil. You should have bm by morning time. This remedy is not very tasteful. It however work practically in 100% of cases.
Fibers likely will not help. Fibers create bulk to stimulate gut mechanically. Mineral oil and prune juice stimulate gut's motion by biochemical means. ...Read more
Depends: Easily digestible foods do not necessarily soften your bowel movements. Easy to digest foods are like the brat diet (bread, rice, apple cause, toast) which are great if you are having indigestion, but they will not soften your bms. If you want to soften your bms you need to either eat a high fiber diet, or use stool softeners such as miralax (polyethylene glycol). ...Read more
I fee full even though I only eat a little amount of food and I haven't had a bowel movement in four days. What can I do to relieve this?
Bowel Movement: It's very important to have regular bowel movements so the body can expel and release digested waste products for optimum health. Things that may help in producing a BM would be to increase your water/fluid intake, increase physical activity and use an OTC laxative. There are multiple products available, however magnesium based products are quite effective as well as Miralax (polyethylene glycol). ...Read more

Only if I eat a lot of fried foods/fatty foods, there looks like oily stuff coming of bowel movements. Otherwise, it isn't oily. Normal?
No...: Passage of oil droplets in the stools is abnormal and indicates either maldigestion or malabsorption of fat. Maldigestion of fats more often might occur with gallbladder disease or if you've had your gallbladder removed. Malabsorption signals a pancreatic or intestinal disease. See your doctor for consultation. Good luck! ...Read more

Often when I eat spicy/hot foods I have a bowel movement later it comes out just as hot & very painful. Is there a reason for this/way to avoid this?
Avoid spicy foods: Sometimes this can be from active hemorrhoids or the medical condition pruritus ani. Spicy foods often have an ingredient capsaicin which can set off the p nerve fibers in the body. It seems that some people have more sensitive nerve fibers in their body and the capsaicin found in hot peppers triggers this. ...Read more

My father has recently been diagnosed with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). What foods and therapies can u suggest to cure this?
Stress reduction.: Since the cause for ibs is unknown (some studies showed that people with ibs has lower pain threshold in the bowel) but stress is considered an important factor, stress reduction (meditation?) would be the first step. I eat a mostly clean diet, no gluten, sugar, dairy, or processed foods. I also make green juice daily. Is it normal to have 4-5 bowel movements a day?
Is thriving in growth charts, but refuses regular food. Relys on milk. When he does eat his bowel movements are runny have chunks of whole food in it.
Diet & Milk : Hello. This age can have picky eating habits. Milk despite many calories is iron deficient and can cause anemia in kids relying on milk. Is best to limit milk to 16oz or less per day. Less milk can boost appetite. If juice intake is high, runny stools can result. Lactose may be cause as well. Recommend stool tests if long term issue.
