I was diagnosed with a spherical +.075 power and cylindrical -.1.90 power for both my eyes. Is that very bad?

OnlyMeans NotPerfect: Focus. Values=magnification, in diopters, which examiner felt were effective to compensate focus (from what you said: clearer vs. Less clear) & better read characters. The Phoropter used to arrive at values=simply an arrangement of lenses (quickly changeable glasses, if you will) used, trial & error, to rapidly check what worked better at time checked. Spherical=overall; cylinder+axis=astigmatism. ...Read more

I have given a 0.5 cylindrical power in my left eye with 20° axis. My question is should I need to wear a spects.

Depends: If you otherwise see well enough without spectacles in with both eyes, you likely can just monitor your vision. Astigmatism tends to have more symptoms of blur of too high and especially at nighttime. 0.5 cylinder at 020 degrees axis is low order, but oblique in nature, which also tends to be more symptomatic. Have your eyes monitored. You can always wear spectacles if your vision is blurry. ...Read more

I have a sph power of -0.75 in left eye and -1 in right eye. My right eye also has cylindrical power of -0.5, axis 100. Should I wear glasses always?

Your choice: Glasses are an optical improvement but not a medical item. If you need the clarity of vision these glasses can provide, then by all means wear them. But you do no harm living with a little blur and your powers indicate that reading should be no issue at all. Either way, the health of the eyes will not compromised. ...Read more
