Lactose intolerance can start at any time, and symptoms can vary from day to day. Try a lactose-free diet for 1-2 weeks (no regular milk, cheese, ice cream, cottage cheese, sour cream, ranch dressing, yogurt, or milk chocolate). FODMAPs: Stands for Fermentable Oligo-, Di-, Monosaccharides and Polyols. These are compounds in food that bacteria in your intestine can ferment. This can cause gas, pain and diarrhea. Try a low FODMAP diet for a few weeks and see what happens. https://stanfordhealthcare.org/content/dam/SHC/for-patients-component/programs-services/clinical-nutrition-services/docs/pdf-lowfodmapdiet.pdf ...Read more

Unfortunately : Unfortunately there is no way around this problem, the issue here is Cellulose (fiber found in raw vegetables) this is a carbohydrate that is very difficult for the human body to digest. For this reason, if a lot is consumed the result is gas, bloating and nausea. You should also be aware that for this reason many of the valuable nutrients in raw vegetables are actually not being absorbed by the body, which defeats the intended purpose of eating this way. I believe that steaming your vegetables would be better on your digestive system, and would give your body more nutrients. On the other hand, you can try using a digestive aid before consuming raw vegetables. Examples of naturally occurring digestive enzymes include aloe vera and papain. These can be found at your local vitamin and herb retailer. Good luck! ...Read more

Gastroenteritis.: This sounds like acute gastroenteritis - nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pains, fever, chills and sweats are all possible components of this. Could be viral or food-borne, BUT I'd think this is lasting too long, unless you tell me that you ate fried rice before this started as there's a bacterium in fried rice that can cause symptoms for upwards of 14 days. But you may need a CT scan now. ...Read more
