I heard some cultures take 2 or 3 tablespoons of flax seeds with hot water as a natural laxative. Is that safe to do? How about daily for fiber?

I have tried taking senna laxative aswell as lactilose but neither seemed to work, i'm taking prednisolone but finding it very hard to digest my food.

My four year old has pain after eating, no suspected food allergies. Tried laxatives but no help. She has also been having a lot of accidents too.
Sounds like : she is suffering from chronic constipation causing the "accidents" as in fecal soiling. Need to discuss with your pediatrician - make sure she does not have urinary tract infection also.
