Haven't heard of it: When reading such research papers, one should ask questions such as: which milk products (there are thousands or more), who were the test subjects, who were the control subjects (did not receive the test products), how many people were tested (the more the better), how much were the igf-1 levels affected, etc... Is it that more amount of HGH and estrogen trigger a growth hormone? Can we increase height by increasing the above two hormones?
No: The greatest factor involved in your ultimate adult height is genetic factors (height of your mother and father). Unless you have growth hormone deficiency and/or estrogen deficiency, taking these hormones will not signifiantly change your ultimate height. I can think of some hormonal products in birth control pills that cause temporary changes in the breast, but nothing that could give you something your genetics hasn't pre-ordained.
