I took 1 Claritin (loratadine) 24 hour last night and 1 clairtin D 24 today around 3pm. I just vomited 3x after dinner, food taste very bitter. ER visit???

Indeterminate at this point.: The Claritin (loratadine) during the dosage studies was initially dose up to 40 mg per day. A normal Claritin (loratadine) is only 10 mg. You're not normally going to have those kind of symptoms just from an allergy medication. You certainly could have a viral syndrome. Perhaps you're even developing appendicitis. If you have a fever, do not feel like eating, and are having progressive pain, then I suggest you might want to visit the emergency room. ...Read more

Past 5 months have had nausea, bitter metallic taste, a tongue sore & chillitis that comes & goes. Nausea/taste comes on & off all day with/out food. Past 5 months have had nausea, bitter metallic tas?

See your doctor: The metallic taste is known as dysguesia and can have many causes, including infection, an effect of smoking, allergies, or certain medications. With the meds you're taking I do wonder if one could be causing this, including the nausea and chelitis. I would suggest an office visit with your prescribing doctor to discuss your symptoms and review your medications and their side effects. ...Read more

Everything that I eat or drink except water has a bitter taste. This started a few days ago. I gargled with listerine and salt water. I brushed my tongue. I ate a piece of pie and it tasted bitter. I have not eaten any pine nuts, unless they were in food.

This: This somewhat common problem has a huge differential of potential causes such as:
- nasal drainage
- nasal polyps
- bad tooth
- gastroesophageal reflux
- salivary gland obstruction/ dry mouth
- medications
- a neurological problem with the taste receptors

and that's just scraping the surface!

you should see your doctor or an otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat specialist) for an exam and a work-up. Hopefully, if they can find the cause, they can fix the problem.

As far as pine nuts go, check to labels of the foods you are eating. Since nut allergies are so prevalent, companies are required to label foods that may have tree nuts (including pine nuts) in them. ...Read more

Sounds: Like you may have a gallbladder problem not as rare as some think even in a male your age! The foul smell may be due to fat malabsorbtion. At any rate your symptoms require a proper GI evaluation which can begin with your PCP (Primary Care Provider)
Hope this helps...in the meantime AVOID FATTY FOODS!
