So I have an issue. Some of the back teeth in my lower jaw on the left side hurts if I chew down on food or if I brush my tongue on it. It happens for a day, stops for a few weeks, then picks back up. It's not a sharp pain, more like a dull pinching pain.

Tongue papillae?: Everyone has a row of 7-12 large (2-3 mm) papillae across the back of the tongue, called circumvallate papillae, perhaps what you have noticed. Google it for photos to compare. Entirely normal, not caused by any of the things you mention. No STD is a likely cause of any kind of painless bumps in the moth. But since STDs are on your mind, you're probably at risk, so get tested. Good luck! ...Read more

Well: Well it sounds like you may be describing gastroesophageal reflux (gerd). This is a condition where excess acid produced in the stomach reflexes into the esophagus and when this occurs food and acidic fluid can be tasted in the back of the mouth.
I recommend that you have your son evaluated by his doctor right away. If this is in fact the problem then a cause may be identified and treatment initiated.

Not sure what you: Mean by "I have to chew the food again Back". Do you mean after you swallow the food it comes back up and you gave to chew it again?
