Can stress cause a GERD flare up, despite daily dose of Pantoprazole? If so would it cause left side back pain, and would whitish flem come up my throat? My throat has been dry because of this but I have no cough.

Can stress cause a GERD flare up, despite daily dose of Pantoprazole? If so would it cause left side back pain, and would whitish flem come up my throat? My throat has been dry because of this but I have no cough.

Stress can increase: Acid formation in the stomach despite the pantoprazole. Increased acid formation needs to be neutralized with medication managment. Increased acid in the stomach can cause laryngo-pharyngeal reflux followed with throat discomfort. I hope this helps. Back pain, dysphagia: Your symptoms may be related or not, minor, or more serious. I would ask you: are you/have you every smoked; have you had a screening colonoscopy? Food sticking in the throat could suggest infection or something causing some obstruction, low back pain could be muscular, could suggest a kidney stone or urinary infection, constipation needs further evaluation. You should see your provider.

Can forward head posture be the cause of the following symptoms? Headache, mucus in back of throat (gerd/lard), fatigue, dizziness, neck/back pain...

Structure & function: Headache, mucus in back of throat (? Pnd vs, (ler), fatigue, dizziness, neck/back pain are all non-specific, often due to an identifiable condition or a named disease process. Without knowing what specific condition (s) is (are) causing these symptoms, it would be incorrect to attribute one vague physical sign (ie forward head posture) to a set of vague symptoms.

Gastroenteritis: Most commonly this is due to a transient viral infection, but with the history you provide any of the things you were guessing about may have occurred. It is not something that can be diagnosed long distance. Good luck and I hope this clears up quickly.

Reflux: It sounds like you might have reflux esophagitis which could explain your stomach pain, acid, chest pain and Unable to keep food down However I would suggest that you see a gastroenterologist, you need an endoscopy which can show findings of esophagitis and gastritis, hiatus hernia and he can even test you for H pylori. For the meantime, you can try over the counter medication like Prilosec.

Are there any neurological disorders that cause really bad headaches bad neck/ back pain. Had this since august, and nothing works, no drugs will help?

Chronic daily H.A.'s: Maybe you too have migraine, and your "drugs" have precipitated a more frequent pattern. There are items which can both stop and prevent headaches, both prescription and otc. Suggest you seek an experienced neurologist, and get this controlled. Avoid pain meds of all types, as will just exacerbate your problems.

Can lower back pain cause neck and shoulder pain? How can a sprain on one place cause sprain somewhere else?

Can lower back pain cause neck and shoulder pain? How can a sprain on one place cause sprain somewhere else?

Neck and Shoulder: Lower back pain does not usually cause neck and shoulder pain. They may be related to a common problem or completely separate issues. Best to be evaluated to determine. A sprain is an injury to a ligament. A ligament holds bone to bone. Injuring one ligament does not cause a sprain to another ligament unless there is trauma to both.
