Food Stuck In Throat But Not Choking
I can swallow moist food and beverages, but dry food particles seem to get stuck in back of throat, not esophagus. Could this be my swollen tonsil?

Dysphagia: Esophageal stenosis (narrowing) from scar tissue (strictures) is of itself not painful. However, depending upon how tightly narrowed the stricture may be, food can impact there (cause dysphagia). Usually dysphagia occurs with meats, bread. Pain on swallowing (odynophagia) may result. Dysphagia: Sounds like you had or have scheduled a barium swallow. That's a great first step for this problem. If that doesn't provide an answer, get a referral to ENT for 'laryngoscopy' of throat and possibly 'esophagoscopy' of food passage. Uncomfortable to swallow, feels like pill stuck in back of throat. Can clearly see epiglottis in back of throat sticking up. More saliva than normal.
Uvula not epiglottis: You may see your uvula but it is difficult to see epiglottis. You have pain with swallowing. Feels like something in your throat. I would recommend drinking lots of fluids. More info: Need more info - how long, did it start after eating a meal, was it there upon waking, is it sore, any cold symptoms, rash or post nasal drainage. Possible allergies, ulcer, foreign body, diverticulum, or even cancer. Symptoms not related: You mention a variety of symptoms that are not related. Fatigue is multifactorial and is not related to your throat. The feeling of a lump in your throat can be related to acid reflux or muscle hyperactivity of the opening of the esophagus; sometimes related to anxiety. Can be asthma, etc.: It depends on the circumstances and setting in which these attacks occur. They might be panic attacks, where part of the therapy is to breathe into a paper bag to slow brreathing down and relax. It can be an asthma attack triggered by a thing like cold air. Esophageal disorder: Your symptoms could be related to esophageal function versus a scarring or narrowing of the esophagus, and deserve further workup. How they tie into a headache is unclear.
