Food for babies: I usually go by 3-6 months or 13-16 pounds as guidelines to introduce solid foods. The aap recommends 6 months but if a child is not satisfied with breast or fomula its time to feed him instead od torturing your child and/or yourself. Read more

Possibly: As I indicated in my previous post to you, your child has hemoglobin e / beta+ thalassemia. Some patients like your child will have problems with iron overload, even if they are not chronically transfused. For those patients, excess iron in the diet can be harmful.
