Benzoyl peroxide can: Help. Often the folliculitis is caused by prolongued sitting especially if combined with sweating. I also recommend using corn starch to absorb moisture. If OTC BP isn't enough or the 10% concentration is to irritating see your doctor

Evaluate: Do confirm the diagnosis. Please make sure, it's not yeast infection or impetigo. That may need different meds. Benzoyl Peroxide is primarily use for acne and can be an irritant in sensitive areas. Folliculitis, if that is what it is...often is bacterial infection.
