When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

Hi doctor, I did a follicular study, Doctor said the ovary is not growing, What I need to do for the growth of ovarian?
Ask more information: Did you have an ultrasound of your ovaries? Did your doctor mean the ovary is not growing or the ovary wasn't producing follicles? The distinction between ovary and egg production is important in order to approach an answer. Further discussion with your MD would be helpful ie. Are you menstruating?, is it cyclic? Additional tests may be indicated after a more thorough history. ...Read more
On my 12th day follicular study my ovary size is 38x23 and 33x26 ovaries are large with small cyst and endometrial thickness 7.7 what is meant by this?
It is a phase: During the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle, hormonal changes causes follicular cysts to form in the ovaries and increase in thickness of the lining of the uterus. This coincides when a woman feels abdominal bloating, heaviness, and even moody. This phase is immediately followed by menstrual flow which makes the cysts shrink and allow the lining of the uterus to go back to normal. ...Read more
I'm ttc. My dr told to take follicular study on 12th day. My report was right ovary 42*34 mm sized cyst? Follicular cyst. Left small follicle.
Limited Information: Almost impossible to help you with this information. There are so many different scenarios this represents. The most likely is a left over follicle from the last cycle that didn't physically ovulate (lufs syndrome). This is not indicative of any serious problem. You could also have ovulated just before the u/s test. But based on no "ovulatory" follicle, ? Anovulatory cycle this time. ...Read more

Wat is collapsed follicle. I took follicular study, I took hCG 10, 000 u inj, now my right ovary collapsed follicle is there chance to get pregnant?
Normal: Follicles are recruited every month during the first half of your cycle. One becomes dominant and this is the follicle that releases the egg. After the egg is released, this follicle might appear "collapsed" as it transitions to the corpus luteum. I would not consider this a bad finding. ...Read more

Hi I have pcod had Clomid (clomiphene) 50mg second time follicular study on 10th day my lt ovary follicle is 8mm my right ovary there is septate follicleof 16mm do?
May be ovulatory: With pcos, the ovary tries to produce and release an egg but is unable to really get the egg to release. The ovarian cysts that contain an egg will grow and generally when they get to 2 cm=20mm are considered mature and ready to release an egg. The cysts you are describing sound small. The proof of whether you go on to release the egg will be seen in whether you menstruate or get pregnant. ...Read more
My right ovary measures 17.0mm and endometrial thickness measures 6.8mm I know by follicular study. When should have sex to get pregnant?
Ovulation: The best time to have intercourse for purposes of conception is about +/- 2-3 days peri (around)-ovulation. For many/most women, this occurrence/event is mid-cycle (e.g. day 13/14/15). If you have access to OTC (over the counter) ovulation kits, they can be very helpful in reinforcing and/or determining this time frame. ...Read more

No: When you produce egg cysts (follicles) you tend to only produce 1 or 2 mature or dominant follicles and the rest are considered immature. They may persist into early pregnancy and noted on early US. Its fine to have them. As long as you are producing progesterone from your corpus luteum in sufficient amounts until the placenta takes over at 12 weeks, then everything is fine. ...Read more
Absolutely: You certainly shouldn't ignore this pain but it is most likely normal. When you are first pregnant there is an ovarian cyst formed on the ovary that supplied the egg. It's normal and early on supplies hormonal support to your new pregnancy. It can cause some pain though, as cysts sometimes do. Make sure you get early check ups to determine that your pregnancy is going well. Good luck. ...Read more
1 endometrioma on each ovary. 6 and 9 cc. Could I still be pregnant. Having pregnancy symptoms. Is it possible to get pregnant.
Of course: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. ...Read more
