Follicle Study Msf Means
D11 has follicles size 15mm , D13 follicular scan shows regressed.Does this mean in a natural treatment, ovulation occurred when follicle reached 18mm?
It could be.: You need to check for the LH surge. If you are doing an IVF cycle you will adminster an HCG shot which will mimic LH and cause ovulation,. If you are on antagon therapy this will stop the natural LH surge for the most part but it is not entirely failsafe. Some of the follicles may undergo atresia but you may have other viable follicles that can take over so all hope is not lost. ...Read more
What does variably sized follicles showing reactive germinal centers, some enlarged follicles show disrupted germinal centers but serpentine mean?
Microscopic descript: That part of the biopsy report is a verbal description of what the pathogist sees when he/ she looks at the biopsy under the microscope. All those findings are typically seen in a reactive, benign enlarged lymph node. Reactive lymph nodes can be seen in many inflammatory and infectious conditions, so be sure to follow up so your doctor can find out what is causing it. ...Read more

I got seman tests shows 4-5 sperms only other tests are norml
fnac shows smears shows dispersed sertoli cells admixed with leydig cells and germ cells?
NOA?: I think you have what we might call non-obstructive azoospermia despite a few sperms. We only need the number of sperm to match the eggs from your partner. Needle aspiration is usually not reliable in this situation so open biopsy may be more successful. With so few sperm, you need ivf/icsi. Consult your specialist who has the details of your situation. Best wishes. ...Read more

Asthma is: hyperation. Air comes in but can't get out. An opacity that gets better that is to say regress, is usually a good sign. That can happen with such findings as pneumonia as well as atelectasis. That is a focal collapse of lung. Also you should talk with your doctor to help control the hyperation. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Thyroid biopsy cold nodule showed Follicular cells 2x4cm. Being sent out for generic testing? Will this show if it's benign?
Thyroid nodules: This is a good question and not totally resolved in the thyroid cancer field. On needle aspiration, it is often impossible to distinguish between a follicular adenoma (benign) or follicular cancer. The genetic tests theoretically help make the distinction. But they are not perfect. Many doctors would send you to a good thyroid surgeon and remove a 2x4 cm thyroid nodule with follicular cells. ...Read more

Have 28-29 days cycle.Follicle monitoring results: cd8 - follicle size 11mm, endometrium 4mm. Cd10 - follicle size 17mm, endometrium 6mm. Normal?
Most likely: Follicle size is a little large on cd10 and endometrium is a little thin. We don't normally monitor people on those days. What's more important is what cd12 ultrasound will look like. The endometrium should be 8mm or so and the follicle greater than 17 on that day and if so, you most likely are experiencing normal ovulation. Don't over troubleshoot - variation in cycles is common. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Suggests some: Inflammation. This could be related to inflammation around the urethra, in the urethra or in the higher urinary tract like the bladder and above. A urinalysis without understanding what symptoms you are having is very difficult to interpret. It could be related to an infection or something else. Consider providing more history for improved guidance or just a formal HealthTap consultation. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

FNAC right parotid. Microscopy shows that smears are haemorrhagic and show fixation artifacts.Help.
Nothing about the: information you provide is alarming. The fine needle aspiration has not revealed anything helpful and is not diagnostic. Hemorrhage/bleeding is not unusual; it may even have been caused by the insertion of the needle. Fixation artifact simply means there is disruption of the tissue due to fixation/preparing the material for the microscope. Probably needs repeating...discuss with Doc. Good wishes:) ...Read more
