Folic Acid In Juice Plus
Many fruits (and their juices) are good sources of folic acid, but citrus fruits are highest with orange juice in the lead.
Other folate-rich fruit juices: grapefruit, grapes, banana, cantaloupe, papaya, & strawberries.
Beet, spinach, & carrot juice make good choices too.
These foods as regular solids provide folate of course in the diet as well. ...Read more

If any kind of citrus juice is good for folic acid, like orange or grapefruit. So are these juice are harmful for thalassemia patients? Pls advice.
Is there folic acid in noni juice? Can a 10 year old take while receiving chemo to build immune system?
Talk w/ nutritonist: Not all noni juice formulations are the same. Before having your son consume any, I would bring in the bottle to your next visit to have your oncologist or nutritionist take a close look at the ingredients to make sure there is nothing that would interfere with your son's chemo treatment. Probably will be ok, but check first. ...Read more

Good Day, we are trying to conceive. Can I use Staminogro and Inofolic together? Do I need to use Folic acid in addition to the Inofolic?
Don't waste money.: The Inofolic is a brilliant idea in that it contains folic acid, which is really great if you are trying to conceive. However, folic acid is all that you need and the other ingredients in Inofolic ate not helpful - try folic acid 1mg by itself. Staminogro is sucking money out of your wallet without any benefit - no harm, but no benefit. If you just won the lottery, then no problem. ...Read more
Folic acid and pre-natal vitamins does one need to take folic acid in addition to pre-natal vitamins, or should pre-natal vitamins suffice since it already includes folic acid?
Hello.: Hello. Prenatal vitamins are different than regular multiple vitamins in a couple of ways. They have more folic acid, calcium and iron than a regular multiple vitamin. Vitamin a levels are often reduced. Some prenatal vitamins contain folate which is in a more bioavailable form (5-methyltetrahydrofolate). So normally you would not need to add a separate Folic Acid pill with your prenatal vitamin. Take care. ...Read more

I'm a plus size women ttc currently taking prenatal vitamins that have 800mcg of folic acid. Is taking 400mcg extra of folic acid to much?
Prescribed 1 mg folic acid, take multi-vitamin with 400mg folic acid, plus eat cereal (400mcg folic acid). Is this too much? Why psychiatrist presc?
Co factor: Folic acid, particular some forms which cross the blood-brain barrier, have been show to enhance the effect of antidepressants. It isn't typically toxic because it is water-soluble so you pass out any extra. Deplin is a prescribed form of this, a version of folic acid which gets across the blood-brain barrier. ...Read more
No but important: As far as I know vitamin b6 will not help you conceive but taking Folic Acid and iron is very important. These and other important vitamins are found in an otc or prescription prenatal vitamin. ...Read more

I'm taking geritol multivitamin. I'm also taking a 800mg folic acid. Plus a vitamin b6. Can all these vitamins help me when im trying to get pregnant.
Hey doctor. I'm married since 3 months ago and I wants to get pregnant. Having folic acid 400 mcg since a month but I guess it's making me fat. I'm currently on periods and they are usually 9 days long so I hope it doesn't effect my fertile window? Plus I
Folic acid does not make a person fat.
It is normal for it to take up to a year of unprotected sex to get pregnant. It would be prudent to see an obstetrician and take pre-natal vitamins and discuss your diet, as with your current habit you are likely to gain too much weight during pregnancy.
Wish you good health and a healthy baby!
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

What vitamins in addition to folic acid, b, c and d would you recommend to help with mood swings related to keppra (levetiracetam) aed?
Folic acid/fish oil: If you put Keppra (levetiracetam) into the mytavin. Com nutrient depletion calculator, Folic Acid is the big one. Some of us cannot convert folate or Folic Acid into its usable form so taking reduced folate or methylfolate becomes important.
