I bit my tongue badly 3 days ago. Now very bad earache, sore throat and pain in Eustachian tube, the same side as injured tongue. Are all connected?
Sounds like....: It sounds like you have two issues.... you bit your tongue and you may have a bacterial or viral infection or cold. We can not diagnose or treat you over the internet. See your physician (and dentist if necessary).
Worried about a lump on the side of my tongue that is accompanied with a sore throat, earache, white spot on tonsil, lump in neck - feels like a pea.
Time for a visit.: It's time to visit your oral surgeon /primary care physician for a thorough examination and possibly a strep test.

Aphthous ulcer: This sounds like oral ulcer. The pain in the ear is referred pain from irritation of glossopharyngeal nerve that supplies tongue as well. Avoid consuming hard, hot, spicy foods. Take vitamin D3 (10k IU/day), zinc supplement (50 mg/day), probiotics, vitamin B complex since they speed up healing. Your pain should significantly improve in the next few days. Check with your pcp if soreness persists
I have a sore throat for 3 weeks now, my tongue is really sore & I have really bad earaches & I'm finding it hard to swallow. Could this be strep thro?
Sore throat: A sore throat for 3 weeks is not typical, but it could be strep throat. You included the history that you're a smoker so the best thing that you could do for yourself is to stop smoking and see your doctor soon. Your sore throat could be caused by a viral infection or cancer but only your doctor can tell the difference. Good luck.
Sore throat, red and it is painful to swallow, also shooting pains down my tongue, moving tongue is painful, earache in both ears. Help?
Pharyngitis: Sounds like pharyngitis, which can be bacterial but is usually caused by viruses like those that cause the common cold. Since the ears, nose & throat are connected, you can also have an ear infection. Most viruses don't have good treatments Xcpt time (7-14 day). If you were exposed to any known viruses you could get tested but antivirals have to be started in the 1st 2 days to be effective. GLSee 2 more doctor answers
I have earache (cannot hear frm lft ear) very sore throat (but no tonsils)especially whn swallow, whitish stuff on tongue do I have strep throat?
Earache: You either have wax in the ear of fluid in the middle ear. Sore throat could be a strep infection. The tonsils will have pustules on them or pus. The whitish tongue does not indicate much. You can calm your family doc and ask for an antibiotic if you can not get in to see him or her. Good luck.See 1 more doctor answer
