Flutters In My Side
Usually this feeling: results from some alterations in your heart beat/rhythm..often what we call "skipped beats" but they aren't really. They are ventricular premature contractions (VPC's)..your left ventricle fires by itself without a message from your pacemaker. Unless they are very frequent or you have pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, usually not a problem. But other more serious rhythms possible; see your Doc ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
We're trying to conceive 5 days after my period, I have been feeling flutter on my left side below belly button. What is that meaning ?
Fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and a fluttering in my right side of my abdomen but no pain. I've had 3 benign tumors removed. What's up?
Mixed issues: I'm not sure where the benign tumors were in your body, but they are not directly related to your emotional issues (insomnia, anxiety, depression, etc). You need to ask your physician about the benign tumors, since s/he knows your history and can answer better than we can. Feeling anxious and depressed might be a long-term problem for you, and needs care also. A psychiatrist can help with that. ...Read more

Diaphragm spasm: Your symptoms suggest diaphragm spasm or cramp. If this is an isolated episode that occurs infrequently, then you don't have to worry. If it is ongoing, then you should get evaluated for possible disorder of nerves that control the diaphragm, other conditions. Hope that helps ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I am 44 yrs old. I have been experiencing strong heart palpitations and a flutter in my upper left side of my stomach. What could this be?
Fluttering in right side of chest: It seems that you have a problem known as Muscle Fasciculation on your right sided chest. There are some causes of muscle flutters and top of them is anxiety .When someone comes out of anxiety and depression and rests he/she has flutters on any set of muscles .Most of the time such flutters are benign known as BFS ( Benign Fasciculation syndrome. Some other causes are , • Dehydration • Fatigue • Lyme Disease • Myasthenia Gravis • Rabies • Organophosphate poisoning • Benzodiazepine withdrawal • Magnesium deficiency(which can be caused by stress). Diarrhea normally causes magnesium deficiency and one should take bananas and nuts to eliminate flutters. Some medications like Stimulants can cause fasciculation’s directly. These include caffeine, pseudoephedrine (Sudafed), amphetamines, and the asthma bronchodilators albuterol/salbutamol (e.g. Proventil, Combivent, (albuterol and ipratropium) Ventolin). Medications used to treat attention deficit disorder often contain stimulants as well, and are common causes of benign fasciculation. I will advise you to do EKG , SERUM electrolytes , like magnesium and CBC to find out the cause of the problem and do aerobics to wipe out your anxiety. Use some magnesium containing supplements . Hope Ii have answered your question. ...Read more

Early scan shows sac yolk and fluttering of baby hgc high, does baby usually be at other side of sac not next to yolk? Or is there poss twins?
Twin ultrasound: In a twin ultrasound, there would be at least two fetal poles (future babies), two yolk sacs, and potentially two gestational sacs (the sac surrounding the baby). Beta HCG is extremely variable in early pregnancy. Typically a low number is more concerning. If there is reason for concern, your OB will continue to monitor by blood test and ultrasound. ...Read more
The right side of my chest flutters, and
the bottom of both my beast are numb and when my chest flutters i feel pressure on the right side of my back?
Confusing: Chest fluttering occurs with diaphragm spasms or twitching of intercostal muscles. Pressure on the right side of your back during this event does not discriminate between the two. Numbness under your breasts, in localized to the breasts (as opposed to also around the chest wall) implies either circulatory disorder (tight brassiere and/or large breasts) or local sensory nerve issues. ...Read more
Have had a persistent vibration/fluttering in lower right side genital area. Any cause for concern?
Not likely: Any chance you keep your phone near there? (front R pocket?). People now report 'phantom vibration' that would be like their phone on buzz...even when not wearing/carrying a phone. It is not likely a problem. If other symptoms start, then may want to ask your Dr. ...Read more
