Fluttering in right side of chest:
It seems that you have a problem known as Muscle Fasciculation on your right sided chest. There are some causes of muscle flutters and top of them is anxiety. When someone comes out of anxiety and depression and rests he/she has flutters on any set of muscles. Most of the time such flutters are benign known as BFS (Benign Fasciculation syndrome. Some other causes are,
Magnesium deficiency(which can be caused by stress).
Diarrhea normally causes magnesium deficiency and one should take bananas and nuts to eliminate flutters. Some medications like
Stimulants can cause fasciculations directly. These include caffeine, pseudoephedrine (Sudafed), amphetamines, and the asthma bronchodilators albuterol/salbutamol (e.g. Proventil, Combivent, (albuterol and ipratropium) Ventolin). Medications used to treat attention deficit disorder often contain stimulants as well, and are common causes of benign fasciculation.
I will advise you to do EKG, SERUM electrolytes, like magnesium and CBC to find out the cause of the problem and do aerobics to wipe out your anxiety. Use some magnesium containing supplements.

Is an occasional fluttering feeling in chest during exercise common in otherwise healthy population?
Maybe: If you mean you can feel your heart beat fast after exercise, you may just be out of shape like me and that may be normal. If you really mean fluttering, ie an irregular heart beat you may have atrial flutter or atrial fibrillation, which requires treatment. You should see a doctor. He may want to put a monitor on you to see what your heart beat looks like on an EKG when you have the symptom. ...Read more
Chest flutters started while taking Domperidone. Stopped when medication discontinued. Any permanent damage caused?
Unlikely: Domperidone can potentially have the side effect of causing an arrhythmia which you may have detected as "chest flutters". I would advise that you avoid the medication in the future and let you physician know about the side effect that you had. That being said, it is very unlikely that any permanent damage was caused by what sounds to be a transient response. Again, avoid use in the future! ...Read more

Male (35).... I'm experiencing flutters in my private area and just below. It's not constant. What would cause that?
What would cause a fluttering feeling in middle of abdomen? This seems to happen every day but I don't know what it could be?
Probably nothing : There are muscle twitches that can be bothersome. The midline is an unusual location but possible. The intestines inside don't contract fast enough to cause twitches. It seems a superficial abdominal wall muscle sensation. It doesn't mean anything dangerous. If you see muscle twitching elsewhere in your body, it may be a sign of a more widespread neuromuscular disorder. In such case consult a doc ...Read more
