Need more testing...: "Hepatitis" means inflammation of liver--due to viral infection (cytomegalovirus, epstein-barr virus, a, b, c, d, etc), familial diseases (hemochromatosis, wilson's, alpha-1-antitrypsin deficiency, etc), infiltrative disease (steatohepatitis from fatty liver, granulomatous hepatitis, foreign body reaction), toxic (alcoholic, tylenol), ischemic, congestive, pregnancy-related, etc. Cause determines ...Read more
Pregnancy unlikely!: A tubal ligation performed at the time of c/s carries an extremely low failure rate over time. While it is never wrong to go ahead and do a pregnancy test, this seems like an unlikely explanation for your "flutter". In the right upper quadrant is your gallbladder, liver, and a portion of the large intestine. Given the lack of pain, this is of low concern but should be discused with your doctor! ...Read more
Bubbling/fluttering in sensation in upper right abdomen. It's there more w/ stress. EKG and blood tests normal. No pain or other symptoms. What is it?
What would cause a fluttering feeling in middle of abdomen? This seems to happen everyday but I don't know what it could be?
Probably nothing: There are muscle twitches that can be bothersome. The midline is an unusual location but possible. The intestines inside don't contract fast enough to cause twitches. It seems a superficial abdominal wall muscle sensation. It doesn't mean anything dangerous. If you see muscle twitching elsewhere in your body, it may be a sign of a more widespread neuromuscular disorder. In such case consult a doc ...Read more

What causes "fluttering" sensation in the abdomen, both sides, lower to mid? I've some anxiety lately. Feeling comes & goes, eases if I burp a bit...
34 F. Slight blood on outside stool prev & stinging, none recently. Also feeling slight flutter feeling both sides of abdomen. Poss causes? No hx ca.
Abd flutter = nerves: U prob have (or had) hemorrhoids, which can cause a stinging sensation & some blood in ur stool (also present when you wipe). Hemorrhoids can regress (go away) if u change ur diet & hygiene patterns. At 34 yrs, it would be very RARE to get colon cancer. The odds r with u that this problem is limited, but TTYD & perhaps a surgeon or GI doc when it happens. Queasiness causes "flutter" as does worry. ...Read more

Hello, ive been feeling on my left abdomen like muscle spasms or fluttering sensa, under my belly button on the left side. No pain just it hasn't stop?
Likely muscle spasms:
It's common for the abdominal muscles to develop spasms. This isn't anything dangerous but it can happen either from being too sedentary or even from excess exercise.
