Fluid Ultrasound Uterus Prior To Ovulation
Can you please explain what happens to the uterus dduring ovulation, and what would it look like in an ultrasound?
An ultraound, also known as a sonogram, is a painless and relatively inexpensive imaging test that utilizes sound waves instead of ionizing radiation. There are no side effects. Ultrasound can give us two-dimensional, and in some applications three-dimensional, images of structures and organs in virtually any part of the body. In addition to diagnostic uses, such as evaluating abnormalities in the abdomen, pelvis, and breast, ultrasounds are commonly used to guide needle and catheter placement in a variety of surgical ...Read more

Sex on calculated ovulation date. No period for a week, sore breast,tired,3 negative PT,normal ovaries and uterus on sonogram and pelvic pains normal?
Not if negative : Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. See your doctor for irregular periods and pain ...Read more
Ultrasound scan of uterus a small amount of fluid was seen within the uterus but wasn't inside of uterine cavity it outlined the cavity. Problem?
I had an ultrasound at about 5 weeks. They saw a very small sac but said there was a lot of free fluid in my uterus maybe septate. What does it mean?
Waterbag: Early in pregnancy the walls of the waterbag are not as closely attached to the wall of the womb as they are lateron. On ultrasound the shadow of part of the waterbed is seen with fluid between the waterbed and the wall of the womb, creating an image of septation. This issue vanishes as pregnancy progresses. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Suppose to have a hsg, they couldn't perform because I have scarring on my cervix. I had ultrasound and found fluid in my uterus. Is this bad?
Not unexpected.: If your cervix is scarred and a catheter could not be inserted for an hsg, the opening may be blocked or partially blocked, causing fluid to accumulate in the endometrial canal. The important thing is to address the stenosis (blockage). Your ob/gyn will discuss the underlying causes and treatment options. ...Read more

I had a hysteroscopy & a laparoscopy 2 months ago 2 remove fibroids n my uterus. No period yet ultrasound shows fluid in uterus is this normal?
Last weeks ultrasounds showed left ovarian cyst and fluid in uterus. No right ovary was visualized and I don't think it was the 2 times prior in 2013. Should I be concerned?
Ultrasounds: Ovaries can be difficult to identify if there is a good amount of inflammation in the area, gas, fluid, etc. They tend to blend in to their surroundings, unless you have a really good ultrasound machine. Next time you go in, ask the tech to identify the ovary for you, and you'll see what I mean; in some cases it is very subtle. I would discuss with your doctor. Good luck! ...Read more
