Wake up in night in pain. Fingers feel like they are swelling and burning. The middle fingers in both hands.
Carpal Tunnel: Sounds like you might have the beginning of carpal tunnel syndrome. This usually wakes you up with numbness affecting the thumb, index, and long fingers. There can be all varieties of presentation though. I would suggest buying a wrist brace to wear at night. Sounds like: some of your symptoms may be related to your fibromyalgia. It does not look like you are taking any medication for this. If you are having swelling/edema in your extremities that can also be a cause for the "burst veins". Varicose veins can also become inflamed, causing your symptoms.
