Gallbladder.: If your gallbladder appears inflamed on ultrasound and has free fluid around it, associated with symptoms which sound like gallbladder symptoms, I would say the most likely cause of your symptoms is your gallbladder. Complication?: It could be a complication due to a bike leak or bile duct injury. Ask about doing a HIDA scan (nuclear medicine) to see if the duct system is intact and/or leaking. If the operation wasn't an emergency, he should be home by now. Hope this helps! ...Read more
