Diflucan (fluconazole) - pregnancy: It is extremely unlikely that Diflucan (fluconazole) caused any harm to the baby. Most studies have shown the medication to be safe. I took a fluconazole and i'm also on lo-loestrin. Didn't get my period this month, and was late taking one pill. How great of a risk is pregnancy?

Risk of pregnancy: Not much of a risk at all. Being late on only one dose of your ocp is not an issue in and of itself, and Fluconazole actually increases the blood levels of oral contraceptives. The risk of contraceptive failure in the scenario you describe is basically nil. ...Read more
