My son is 18 months Has a temp of 100.4. Sweating and has super hot feet and legs. He has no sores in his mouth. And a bit restless. Is this the flu?
Could certainly be: The flu, or another virus. I would recommend you call his pediatrician and have him seen. It is normal to sweat when fever breaks. Take it easy for a couple of days. Drink enough fluids. Once the major symptoms have resolved start your regular activities.

Flu usually presents with the symptoms you mention PLUS a high fever initially at least! You may have ordinary Rotovirus (common cold) or MILD flue (made mild my partial protection from Flu vaccine)
In any case Aspirin/Fluids/Rest are the best sources of comfort (plus or minus a decongestive such as Sudafed)
