The past 3 times I've been sick with a cold/flu I also had pink eye. Sometimes it's both eyes or other times just one. Will this keep happening?

Maybe: Reddish discoloration of the eyes is common in upper respiratory infections, and may not always be associated with a viral conjunctivitis (commonly called "pink eye"). I had a flu shot on September 12th I woke up the next morning with both eyes red swollen as of today my right eye is clearing up my left eye is not my?
