Holter report supraventricul 24isolated ,2couple ,1 runs totally 3 beats, 3beats longest Run 81 bpm, 3 beats fasted run 81bpm, 1.7 second max R-R?
Depends on symptoms: Your findings may be considered normal. It depends whether you felt the symptoms prompting the holter placement, during the time that you wore the holter. Either way, a longer-term rhythm recording may be necessary. Call 911 if you develop shortness of breath, chest pain, dizziness, passing out, or a sudden onset rapid heart rhythm that doesn't resolve after 30 seconds, or recurs. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Electrocardiogram (ecg, ekg) is a print-out of the electrical forces detected by electrodes on the chest wall, as electricity travels through the heart with each heart beat. The electrodes are placed in different positions, and each position "sees" the electrical activity of the heart from its own vantage point. Abnormalities in signal detected at chest surface ...Read more
Yes, by tracing only: It is an abnormal ekg by reading of the tracing but what is most important is the ekg in relation to a good history and clinical exam. Questions to ask: do you have a past history of heart disease, high BP, diabetes, smoking? Do you have chest pain/jaw pain/pain down L arm? Is your BP high on exam? Any of these findings along with the above ekg is a MAJOR concern. Please talk with your doctor!! ...Read more

Possible hemiblock: An abnormal right axis plus minimally prolonged qrs duration defines what is termed a left posterior hemiblock (block of the posteroinferior fascicle of the left branch of the bundle of his). An abnormal right axis can also occur in conditions with elevated right heart pressure and resultant right ventricular enlargement. Normal sinus rhythm means no rhythm disturbance. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Moms holter test shows ventricular ectopic beats.In 89307 beats total aw 133,isolated 112,pairs 4,abberant 0,runs 3&run beats 13.rhythym is sinus.help?
Not enough info: What distinguishes the significance of a rhythm disturbance is what the condition of the heart is, not the rhythm per se. Your mother needs an evaluation which includes information about how strong her heart is and whether she has evidence of blocked arteries. Other considerations are what meds she takes, her use of nicotine, alcohol and caffeine, and what symptoms, if any, she has. Warm wishes. ...Read more
Heart echo echo ekg holter and 1month event monitor normal.Having skipped beats and chest tightness.whats causing it.Skipped beats notrecoded on event?
Ask details.: Were there isolate atrial or ventricular premature beats on the Holter. Even if there were, if they are infrequent and if a stress-echo test was normal, it sounds as though everything indicates nothing serious. Simply continue to monitor symptoms and, if symptoms worsen, repeat monitoring. ...Read more
Would cardiac mri & mra without contrast, ecg, 48hr ecg, echocardiogram, treadmill ecg rule out the majority of heart problems in 25 yr old?
ABSOLUTELY: This is more than enough testing and most insurers would NOT cover all these tests! Hope this helps ...... ...Read more
My heart structurally fine on echo, MRA, ECG, MRI, holter monitors. Is it unlikely my frequent PVCs will turn into Ventricular tachycardia/death?
Unlikely: With a normal heart based on all the studies you have had, PVCs are usually benign and not like to precipitate ventricular tachycardia. The caveat is that you are on diltiazem as well as amitriptyline both of which can affect the heart rhythm. Thus you should continue to have your EKG monitor. All the best to you! ...Read more
Are odd Supraventricular beats on24Hr Holter the same as (or connected to ?)Nonsustained Ventricular Tachycardia <30sec ?
No: Supraventricular is NOT ventricular. There is a significant difference clinically, treatment wise and prognostically for extra beats from the atrium vs. extra from the ventricle. ...Read more

My Holter Monitor showed 1596 Bradycardia events (under 50 bpm) in 48 hours and 2356 pauses between 2.02-2.5 seconds. Lowest Heart rate was 27 .
Talk to cardiology: I am assuming that you have symptomatic bradycardia, and that was the reason you had a Holter study done. Now, I don't know how long your HR stayed at 27, but even 40 is too low. This isn't something that can wait, call your doctor and develop an action plan today. If after hours ask to speak to the on call doc for that office. ...Read more
