Probable non-pigment: This is probably a mole of some type and totally benign. However it is always best to show it to your regular doctor on the next visit for an opinion. If in the meantime it gets irritated, changes color or size have it seen sooner than later by a dermatologist for careful evaluation. ...Read more

Vestibulitis: Can be associated with a dry nose, picking at the area, or using q-tips inside the nose. You can get a low grade bacterial colonization of the hairs inside the nasal skin(vestibule). This creates a chronic irritation, crustiness, and sometimes clear discharge with occasional blood in it. See an ENT for treatment, usually ointments and antibiotics.
