Flesh Colored Bumps In Back Of Throat
I have flesh colored bumps on the back of my throat and little white bumps have formed around them. They don't hurt but I can feel them. What is this?
Throat culture: I suggest you please have a regular exam at a clinic where a throat culture should be taken. A treatable infectious process could be picked up with a culture. More history is needed, such as how long has this gone on, do you have any other symptoms, and are you taking any drugs, do you smoke and do you drink alcohol? Hi-I have a few flesh colored bumps in the back of my throat. I recently quit smoking, and I have had the same partner for a year. What are they?
Maybe not abnormal: This doesn't sound abnormal; maybe you're just looking too closely. If no pain, probably nothing to worry about. Your comment about your partner suggests you may be worried about STDs, but no STD would cause anything like this. But if you remain concerned, see a doctor. Good luck.

Normal: Bumps of lymph tissue in the back of the throat are normal. These may be slightly larger to make up for the lack of tonsils. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.

What causes clear. ..filled bumps in back of throat or near tonsil area (have no tonsils). They don't hurt.
Possibly allergies: I believe you may be referring to cobblestoning of the lining of your throat. This often will occur if a person has allergies. The little bumps are tiny areas of swelling. It is also possible that what you are seeing is normal. Many people will say that they see bumps, and they are referring to normal tissue that appears bumpy due to light reflection when trying to illuminate the area.
