Benadryl, (diphenhydramine) lotion: Try some over the counter benadryl (diphenhydramine) 25 mg every 6-8 hours for the itching. Here's some other things to help: 1) keep skin cool, heat makes itching worse 2) use lotion, dry is tichy, 3) avoid friction, rubbing skin causes itchy skin to be more itchy.
